Yesterday was the day when the sliding catch became the go to play in order to get yourself high on this list. The third placed play – made by Ryon Healy – is a sliding catch in foul territory, while Yoenis Cespedes managed to get himself in second on the list with a careening, full speed sliding catch in the outfield.
The No. 1 play though goes to Yasuel Puig as he continued the tradition of outfielders not giving a damn about their body. Puig threw himself into the scoreboard at PNC Park to stop the Pirates claiming extra bases.
