When Matt Rhule brought Sean Padden from Temple to Baylor as associate athletics director for football operations, Rhule must've buried a sentence deep in the job requirements section of his employment contract.
"Responsible for overseeing speed testing of tackling dummies."
And like any committed staff member, Padden is fulfilling his responsibilities.
During Friday's practice, Padden — who was previously Rhule's associate athletics director and chief of staff the last four seasons with the Owls — was tapped to race the tackling dummy. If he won, Baylor players would have a more relaxed curfew.
