Even though conferences like the ACC, SEC, and Big 12 sent teams to the playoffs, it was Conference USA, the Mountain West, and the Sun Belt that had the best overall 2019 bowl season.
On the flip side, the Pac-12, which went an abysmal 1-8 in 2017, finished with another subpar performance by finishing 3-4.
