College football fans woke up on Sunday morning with a beautiful reminder: It's only Week 2.
It's only Week 2 and it feels like we've already seen everything. From one-handed catches and countless crazy finishes to fiery postgame press conferences and hilarious tweets, the college football season has already gifted us with a treasure trove of happiness. 3rd and Goal from the 7 … Their OWN 7
Louisiana Tech was supposed to threaten upset at home against Mississippi State. Not only were they blown out, they managed to record the longest down-and-distance in football history.

Leach is a Genius
Washington State trailed Boise State 17-10 at halftime and 31-10 halfway through the fourth quarter. They pushed the game to overtime, where they won in the third extra session. Clearly, Mike Leach's halftime comments spurred the comeback.

Brian Wasn't in a Talking Mood
Notre Dame failed to execute offensively during most of their home loss to Georgia and Brian Kelly was clearly peeved, which he did not hide during his postgame press conference.

College Football Can Be Weird
And we'd have it no other way, nor would Mississippi State, because this pregame routine obviously led them to victory.

Offseason Training Pays Off
Referee Mike Defee makes headlines each week for showing off his massive upper body. And he used that upper body to deflect a ball without losing a beat.

This is Pretty Cool
Texas Wesleyan's football team had their first home game in 75 years. They lost to Millsaps College but it was still a great day for the Rams.
