The Big 12’s already dire playoff chances took another body blow with Oklahoma State’s loss to Texas in Week 9, forcing the conference to pray for mass chaos across college football in hopes of avoid a third playoff whiff in seven years. We know that; we know the conference’s playoff hopes are either dead or hanging by a thread.
What we don’t know: The current hierarchy within the 10-team conference. Who’s the best team? Oklahoma, still? Or Oklahoma State? Is there an argument for Texas? Whomever you pick, who follow them? And who’s after that?
