Throwback and alternate uniforms are more prevalent in college football than ever before, and while many attempts at creativity fail miserably, they're still a fun addition to the game.

Here are some Big 12 throwback uniforms we want to see for one game in 2018:
Iowa State has won more than eight games in a season only twice, 1906 and 2000, and each time they won nine games. The Cyclones flirted with the program record last year before finishing 8-5.
Maybe they can get over the hump with all-red throwback uniforms from a period that began with 13 wins over five seasons but finished with one of the most stable stretches in program history.

If Kansas wears throwback uniforms but no one watches the game, did they actually wear throwbacks?
At this point, just bring everything back to a time when the Jayhawks weren't more miserable than a Pop Warner team. Wear the red tops-silver pants uniforms (below) or red tops-blue pants ones.

Kansas State won 10 games between 1983-89. Ten total games over seven seasons. They've won at least 10 games in a single season nine times since then, including six 11-win seasons over a seven-year period (1997-2003).
Why on earth would the Wildcats remember those dark days when they were the worst program in college football? Because most people don't understand how bad it was.

Oklahoma State has delivered some great combinations over the last decade but none were as good as the all-orange, white-helmet uniforms that Brandon Weeden and James Blackmon wore a couple times as they were tearing apart Big 12 defenses.

TCU's uniforms weren't particularly extraordinary during the LaDainian Tomlinson era but as we approach the 20th anniversary (2020) of LT's 2,100-yard season, let's bring them back in the near future.

Texas Tech wore throwback uniforms very similar to these beauties from the 1970's but they whiffed on one key feature: Their white helmets did not feature the big stars like they did 40 years ago; they had smaller stars.
