Four CAA football teams were on bye last week, including the reigning champs. How much will that inaction affect last week's rankings? (Hint: not much.)

1. James Madison
The Dukes got a well-deserved week to heal up and get ready for a top-15 matchup with Villanova in Bridgeforth Stadium. Oh, and ESPN College GameDay is coming. You may have heard about it.

2. Elon
There's no change from last week's second-ranked team after Elon fought off a feisty Tribe team for a 25-17 win. Only one team is 3-0 in CAA play right now. It's Elon.[divider]
3. Villanova
An impressive 31-0 win over Maine has us wondering if stingy Villanova has a legitimate shot at containing JMU's explosive offense. Nobody's been able to do it so far; on the other hand, JMU doesn't exactly have the best track record with College GameDay in town. This showdown between two teams ranked in the FCS top 10 has all the makings of an instant classic.[divider]
4. New Hampshire
This weekend's evening game at Stony Brook should tell us a lot about both teams. For now, UNH is still undefeated in conference play.[divider]
5. Delaware
The Hens picked up an impressive road win at Stony Brook last weekend, which could signal Delaware's readiness to compete for a playoff spot. Or, it could just mean Stony Brook is overrated.[divider]
6. Stony Brook
The Seawolves might be 3-1, but their wins have come at the expense of Rhode Island, Towson and William & Mary. You might notice that all three of those teams aren't exactly at the top of our Power Rankings. Stony Brook can prove it's not an also-ran during this weekend's home game against New Hampshire.[divider]
7. Richmond
When it's all said and done, the Spiders might end up being a better team than Stony Brook. With that being said, the Seawolves have three wins in hand, and UR is still looking for its second, so we'll keep Richmond here for now.[divider]
8. Albany
An overtime win over Villanova will keep the Danes' playoff profile visible, but Albany is running out of chances to impress people after a 41-38 loss in Richmond. [divider]
9. William & Mary
Before the end of the year, the Tribe will beat someone they aren't supposed to. [divider]
10. Maine
The Black Bears (1-3, 0-3) look like a pretty good team, but at a certain point, you are what your record says you are. Upcoming games with Rhode Island, Albany and William & Mary might bear more fruit. [divider]
11. Towson
Fresh off a bye, Towson could significantly cloud Richmond's season with an upset in Maryland this weekend. [divider]
12. Rhode Island
The Rams travel to Orono this weekend and could break Maine's spirit with a win.
