Northern Colorado and Montana split the regular-season title, both going 15-3 in league play. UNC went 23-8 overall while the Grizzlies finished 22-9. It was the first Big Sky title for Northern Colorado, who earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, although the Bears won the 2011 title before it was vacated due to NCAA violations.
