Cal Baptist Basketball NCAA Tournament History

The Cal Baptist men’s basketball team is heading to the 2026 NCAA Tournament after winning the Western Athletic Conference. In the WAC Tournament, the Lancers defeated Utah Tech 86-72 and Utah Valley 63-61 in the championship game.

The Lancers are 25-8 overall entering the Big Dance and on a 6-game winning streak.

Cal Baptist NCAA Tournament Appearances

In 2026, Cal Baptist basketball will make its 1st appearance in the Division I NCAA Tournament.

The program made the jump to Division I in 2018.

Cal Baptist NCAA Tournament Wins

Cal Baptist has not won a game in the Division I NCAA Tournament.

It is 0-1 overall after losing in the 2026 First Round.

Cal Baptist Basketball Coach Rick Croy

Rick Croy has led Cal Baptist since the 2013-14 season.

Entering this year, he held a 250-128 overall record as the head coach, including six 20-win seasons.

In 2023, Croy passed Jerry King to become the all-time wins leader in CBU history. He led the program through the DI transition, as the Lancers joined the top division in 2018.
