The Montana men’s basketball team is heading to the 2025 NCAA Tournament after winning the Big Sky Conference. In the Big Sky tournament, it defeated Northern Arizona 74-65, Idaho 78-55, and Northern Colorado 91-83 in the championship game to clinch the auto-bid.
The Grizzlies are 25-9 overall this season and on a four-game winning streak.

In 2025, Montana basketball is making its 13th appearance in the Division 1 NCAA Tournament and its first since 2019.
The Grizzlies also reached the tourney in 1975, 1991, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2018, and 2019.
