The Wofford men’s basketball team is heading to the 2025 NCAA Tournament after winning the Southern Conference. In the SoCon tourney, it defeated ETSU 72-60, VMI 85-65, and Furman 92-85 in the championship game to clinch the auto-bid.
The Terriers are 19-15 overall this season and on a 3-game winning streak.
Wofford NCAA Tournament Appearances
In 2025, Wofford basketball will make its sixth appearance in the Division 1 NCAA Tournament and its first since 2019.
The Terriers also reached the tourney in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2019.

Wofford Basketball NCAA Tournament Wins
Wofford has won one game in the Division 1 NCAA Tournament, beating Seton Hall 84-68 in 2019 before losing to Kentucky 62-56
Its overall record in the Big Dance is 1-5.
Wofford Basketball Coach Dwight Perry
Dwight Perry is in his second full season as Wofford’s head basketball coach.
Perry took over as interim head coach on December 5, 2022. He had been on staff since 2019 and was promoted to associate head coach in 2021.
The interim tag was removed and Perry was named Wofford’s head coach on March 21, 2023. The Terriers finished 17-15 in Perry’s first season, and they are currently 19-15 heading into the NCAA Tournament.
