Eddie Jackson had himself a DAY against the Carolina Panthers. The Chicago Bears defensive back scored not one but TWO touchdowns in the first half, on a long fumble return and an even longer interception return.
Here's Eddie Jackson's fumble return TD:
That went 75 yards for the first points of the day. Then in the second quarter, Jackson intercepted a pass from Cam Newton and took it 76 yards to the house:
Talk about a big day for the rookie fourth round pick out of Alabama. Jackson became the only player in NFL history to score on 75+ yard interception and fumble returns in the same game. They were his first interception and first fumble return as well.
Jackson was also the first player with two defensive touchdowns in a single game since Tennessee's Zach Brown scored twice in Week 17 of 2012.
