Cleveland Browns Post-Trade 7-Round 2018 NFL Mock Draft

Cleveland Browns Post-Trade 7-Round 2018 NFL Mock Draft

[slidshow_break]

Round 2, Pick 33

Mike Hughes, CB — UCF

The Browns need to add a cornerback after trading away Jason McCourty and the impending move to safety for newly added defensive back Damarious Randall. That gives the Browns a CB room with Briean Boddy-Calhoun, Jamar Taylor, T.J. Carrie, Terrance Mitchell and others, with more moves likely.

Adding a young, talented cornerback like Hughes is the next step for a Browns team that has invested heavily in other areas of the roster. Hughes is a potential difference maker, though scouts disagree on him. He could be drafted much higher than this, but someone like Hughes, Josh Jackson, Jaire Alexander or Carlton Davis will likely be available.
