If the Giants draft Barkley at No. 2 (as we're projecting in this scenario), that means the Brown are probably getting their pick of the non-quarterbacks left at this point after the Jets traded up to No. 3 to (most likely) grab a quarterback. That means Cleveland gets their pick of guys like Quenton Nelson, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Bradley Chubb, Denzel Ward and the rest of the top non-QBs in the draft.
Cleveland's guard play (Kevin Zeitler and Joel Bitonio) was excellent last year, and there's not an offensive tackle worth picking at No. 4. Couple that with all the investments on offense in the offseason (notably trading for Jarvis Landry and signing Carlos Hyde), the Browns are probably thinking defense.
Trading down is certainly in play, but since I'm not projecting trades, I think they grab Bradley Chubb to solidify the defensive line for years to come by pairing him opposite last year's No. 1 pick, Myles Garrett.
*Houston traded their 2018 first-round pick and their first-round pick in 2017 (25th pick — became safety Jabrill Peppers) to Cleveland in exchange for Cleveland's first-round pick in 2017 (12th pick — Houston selected Deshaun Watson)
