Many high school football players earn college scholarships after eight years of work. It took Kevin Hester Jr. eight days.
At 6-foot-5, 230 pounds, Hester (of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga.) looks like a college football recruit. But until last week, he had never actually played football. When he did play, it didn't take long for colleges to take notice.
