Louisville will wear new helmets for one of the biggest early-season games in program history this weekend.
The Cardinals host Florida State in a contest that will dent the loser's playoff hopes and give the winner a major résumé-building victory. With ESPN College GameDay set to broadcast from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, Lamar Jackson's Heisman rising campaign and impact on the ACC race and playoff picture, it's a gigantic matchup.

And the Cardinals will be donning red chrome helmets that should sparkle under the mid-day's sky.
