The social media folks at Colorado and Michigan deserve Peabody Awards for their work on Tuesday.
One of the most legendary Twitter exchanges in college football history began with the Buffaloes' release of a depth chart, but not just a depth chart.

Because the Wolverines don't release depth charts before games, the Buffs mocked them by creating one with all fictional characters, including Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber, Vito Corleone from The Godfather and Peter Griffin from Family Guy.

Michigan then commented on Christmas and his partner in crime and fellow punt returner, Harry Dunne, which set off a hilarious back-and-forth battle that captured the hearts of college football fans:
