It's easy to over-hype plays early in the college football season as the best catch or most phenomenal run of the year.
But last night, Jaleel Scott of New Mexico State made one of the most impressive Odell Beckham-esque touchdown catches you will ever see.
Watch Scott make this unbelievable one-handed snag in the end zone during his team's 37-31 loss to Arizona State. Yes, there are many, many weeks of college football games ahead (!!!), but this highlight might still be the catch of the year by season's end.

The massively underdog Aggies gave the Sun Devils all it could handle Thursday night thanks in large part to Scott's 8 catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns. If quarterback Tyler Rodgers continues to throw for nearly 400 yards as he did last night, New Mexico State could end up shocking a lot of teams this year.
