As you probably know by now, former Toledo Rockets running back Kareem Hunt is good.
Damn good.

The Chiefs newest weapon already has 609 rushing and 166 receiving yards to go along with 6 total touchdowns. About the only thing he hasn't done (yet) is throw for a score.
Thankfully for the other 31 NFL clubs, hidden gems like Hunt are scattered throughout the college football landscape.
To locate the next Kareem Hunt, we focused on seniors at non-Power 5 schools. We also looked for running backs that are similar to Hunt's 216 pounds and 5' 11" frame.
And remember, the Chiefs snagged Hunt with the 86th overall pick in the third round, so one of these running backs could be quite the bargain in next April's NFL Draft.

Rashaad Penny – San Diego State
The 220-pound, 5' 11" running back runs away from defenders like Hunt but will also not hesitate to lower the boom on defenders.
The senior running back's 993 rushing yards are only a dozen behind last year's total. He's currently on pace after six games of eclipsing Hunt's season-high 1,631 yards rushing in 2014.
Penny has done it against good competition too, including at Arizona State (216 yards rushing) and home to #19 Stanford (175 yards rushing).

Larry Rose III – New Mexico State
Rose took the Sun Belt by storm after rushing for 1,102 yards and 9 touchdowns his freshman season and 1,651 yards and 14 TDs the following year.
After seeing his productivity dip to 865 yards behind center a year ago, Rose III is once again on pace for a 1,000-yard season.
Part of the reason for his decrease in yards is due to an Aggies passing game led by Tyler Rogers. The senior has already thrown for 2,113 yards through six games, and NMSU has often had to play from behind, thus the reliance on the passing game.
With only conference games left on the Aggies' schedule, expect Rose III to exceed the 15.1-carries-per game he's currently averaging.

Diocemy Saint Juste – Hawaii
Typically known more for its passing game over the years, Saint Juste's 892 rushing yards are quickly closing in on last season's 1,006. He's averaging 6.2-yards-per attempt and has topped the 200-yard mark twice this season.
And just like Hunt, Saint Juste has incredible breakaway speed.
