College football has a targeting problem. A big, fat, stupid, easily fixable targeting problem that is punishing players in an unfair and unreasonable manner.
College football's targeting ejection has always been stupid, but in Week 13, the final week of the regular-season (for most teams), it prompted more anger as fans watched seniors being escorted off the field in the final game of their career thanks to a stupid rule.
