The tight end in college football isn't the factor it is in the NFL and many times it's more of a hybrid wide receiver or H-Back situation. Some college offenses don't require a traditional tight end, but the Pac-12 typically produces talent at the position, with Stanford being the leaders in that category.

5. Austin Roberts — UCLA
Roberts will have competition in freshmen Moses Robinson-Carr and Jimmy Jaggers, but starts camp as the favorite for reps. Roberts has had time with Josh Rosen, giving him a considerable edge.
4. Hunter Bryant — Washington
Bryant comes in as a true freshman with a chance to get on the field and make plays, particularly in the red zone. How he picks up the playbook and meshes with QB Jake Browning in August may dictate his early production.
3. Harrison Handley — Utah
Handley returns after a 12-catch, 168-yard season with a chance to double that and then some. Troy Williams is back at quarterback and Handley could become the safety valve.
2. Dalton Schultz — Stanford
Schultz is the returning leader for receptions at the position with 23 and tallied 223 yards and a score. If the QB position is solidified from the start this season, Schultz is a lock to be more involved. Freshman Colby Parkinson's presence may help more than hurt Schultz's production.
1. Daniel Imatorbhebhe — USC
Sam Darnold returns, but most of the skill position support does not, suggesting the sophomore should build on a 17-catch, 250-yardm 4-TD freshman campaign.
Others to keep an eye on: Caleb Wilson — UCLA; Jacob Breeland — Oregon; Jimmy Jaggers — UCLA; Josh Falo — USC Colby Parkinson — Stanford;
