UNLV football has been in rebuilding mode since it last went bowling in 2013. In 2015, it made the rare move of hiring a high school coach when it signed Tony Sanchez away from Bishop Gorman.
Turns out it was a great hire. Were it not for an overtime loss to Idaho and a six-point defeat to San Jose State last year, the Rebels would have found themselves in the postseason once again.

As Sanchez rebuilds the program on the field, the athletic department is looking to rebrand off the field. First there was this hilarious "This is Las Vegas" video in the style of the classic "This is SportsCenter" commercials.
Now the school has announced a "refreshed" logo, for a cool $60,000.
