Senior BR-100 Western New Mexico quarterback Mitch Glasmann went into Saturday’s showdown D2 football with BR-18 Colorado Mesa just 44 yards shy of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference record for career passing yards.
He got his 44 yards, and then some, setting a new single game career-high in passing yards with 521. He leads the division in passing yards with 2,673 this season, and is the RMAC all-time record-holder with 12,231. He already owned the RMAC passing touchdown mark with 105.
Unfortunately, his big day wasn’t enough as the Mustangs fell 52-26.
Did we also mention he’s only a junior? Check out the video and above decide for yourself if Glasmann will be holding this record for years to come.
