On Nov. 9, 2010, after 58 games over five seasons, Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins was fired. And he didn't take it well.
Hawkins went 2-10 in 2005, his first season after averaging more than 10 wins over five seasons at Boise State. The Buffaloes won six games in 2006 but lost 22 of their next 33 games, including a loss to Kansas on Nov. 6, 2010, that would be Hawkins' last game as head coach.
Hawkins, now entering his third season as UC Davis head coach, joined High Motor to talk about his career, including those "tough" days after he was fired by Colorado.
