Colorado defensive back Isaiah Oliver fielded the punt and put on some shifty moves to elude tacklers, but was eventually stacked up. Texas State forced a fumble, but Colorado wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. was there to pick up the fumble and run it 55 yards to pay dirt.
It was a touchdown on the first career touch for Shenault.
