When the 2017 NFL season opens this weekend, NFL rosters will feature talented players from the SEC and other top FBS conferences, but there will also be a few D3 football players suiting up.

When initial NFL 53-man rosters were announced this weekend, a few Division 3 players managed to earn spots on teams. Seven players, in fact made it onto teams.
