Two FCS players were named on Daniel Jeremiah's NFL.com Top 50 prospects list for the 2019 NFL Draft.
The article ranked Delaware free safety Nasir Adderley No. 33 and Alabama State offensive tackle Tytus Howard No. 50.
Adderley is a projected first or second round draft pick. The 2018 First Team All-American has been high on draft boards since the start of his senior season.
From the article: "Adderley is a slightly undersized safety prospect with outstanding instincts, range and ball skills. He is a former cornerback and his movement skills reflect that background. He is very fluid in his backpedal and his combination of recognition and burst allow him to cover a lot of ground."
Adderley College Stats & Highlights
Howard's draft stock has risen rapidly since his senior season concluded. His combination of size and athleticism (as a former high school quarterback) has impressed scouts. He's projected to go early in Day 3 of the draft (rounds 4-7), but could potentially be taken on Day 2 in rounds 2-3.
From the article: "Howard has ideal height and length for the position. He played both left and right tackle in the games I studied. In pass protection, he explodes out of his stance and effortlessly covers up speed rushers of the edge. He keeps his hands in tight and steers opponents with relative ease."
