Wyoming QB Josh Allen is considered a first-round prospect, as is SMU WR Courtland Sutton, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound receiver with 4.5 speed and a tremendous track record of production. But the pair aren't the only NFL Draft prospects outside the Power 5 conferences.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has been one of the best players in the NFL this season. He's a fantasy stud, too.
Hunt did not attend Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State or USC, however, and wasn't a first-round pick. I know, shocking.
The rookie came out of Toledo and was a third-round pick in April. Hunt is just one of many examples of star players coming out of schools outside the Power 5 conferences. Here are the top Group of 5 draft prospects for 2018, in addition to Allen and Sutton.
