One hundred and four players are listed on Eastern Washington's official roster entering the FCS National Championship. Eighty are from the state of Washington. For comparison, North Dakota State's 114-man roster doesn't feature more than 35 players from the same state.
Eight home states are represented on EWU's roster, only four of which have more than one player: Washington (80), California (12), Idaho (four) and Oregon (four). The other four — Arizona, Montana, Nevada and New York — have one apiece. Sixty-eight cities are represented, four of which have at least five players, including Spokane and Tacoma (six apiece).
