"I don't give a [expletive] if you're one minute late. You understand that? One minute late and you're going to sit your [expletive] on the bench. Period."
Turns out P.J. Fleck doesn't appreciate tardiness.
Fleck, the 36-year-old first-year Minnesota coach who burst onto the scene with a 13-1 season at Western Michigan last year, is the focus of a four-part ESPN series called Being P.J. Fleck.
"To no surprise, P.J. is all heart, all the time… no matter what he is doing, no matter what time of day,” said co-executive producer Bo Mattingly, who created Bret Bielema’s show of the same name. “Throughout the filming, which continues for a few more weeks, we capture his personality, passion and drive with his family, team and others he interacts with in various situations.”
The first episode of the series will air on ESPNU at 9:00 p.m. ET, followed by airings at the same time on Aug. 9, Aug. 16 and Aug. 23. Fleck and the Gophers open the season eight days after the final episode, hosting Buffalo at TCF Bank Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 31.
