No. 5 Devin Singletary
Florida Atlantic – RB
On 1st-and-5 from the Middle Tennessee 19-yard-line on FAU's opening drive of an eventual 38-20 win last September, Devin Singletary took the handoff from Owls' quarterback Jason Driskel.
He crossed the near hash, bubbled around Blue Raiders' linebacker Darius Harris and dismissed D.J. Sanders with a quick stutter step.
Approaching safety Jovante Moffatt, he faked right and cut left, blowing throw an arm tackle from the diving Moffatt while somehow staying in bounds. A diving Darrius Liggins also whiffed as Singletary leaped past with ruthless two-foot jump cut to the right.
He quickly regained his balance and power and zipped past a small army of defenders into the end zone.

And from a different angle:
Are you kidding me?
As incredible as this run was, runs like this were commonplace for Singletary during a season in which he led all FBS players with 32 total touchdowns and established himself as one of the best players in the country.
Devin Singletary is the best No. 5 in college football.
