Last year, no Group of Six player was taken in the first round of the NFL Draft. Still, plenty of G6 rookies, like Harold Fannin Jr. out of Bowling Green and Upton Stout out of Western Kentucky, still made immediate impacts.
This year we could see some G6 prospects go in the first round. But if they continue to go overlooked, there still should be plenty of players from those schools who will get their shot of making it in the NFL.
