Jordan Oladokun didn’t see a lot of passes tossed his way during his past two seasons at Bowling Green. Toledo quarterback Tucker Gleason quickly found out why during a Week 9 matchup against the Falcons this past season.
Late in the second quarter when the Rockets had a ton of momentum and were threatening to take the lead, Gleason laid out a pass on an out route to all-conference wideout Jerjuan Newton. Oladokun read the play the whole way and jumped the route to snag an interception and take it the distance for a touchdown.
Oladokun also had another pick in that game with the second one coming in the fourth quarter when the Falcons were still clinging to an eight-point lead. Those weren’t just game-changing plays but potential season-changing plays for BGSU, which went on a four-game win streak following the victory over Toledo.
Oladokun has the potential to make those game-changing plays at the next level.

Jordan Oladokun NFL Draft Projection
I project Oladokun will be drafted in the seventh round or will be a priority undrafted free agent.
There were plenty of scouts at Bowling Green’s Pro Day, with many of them there to watch Harrold Fannin Jr. Oladokun reportedly had a good showing at the event and has spoken with around 20 NFL clubs, he told the Toledo Blade.

Jordan Oladokun’s Stats & Highlights
According to Pro Football Focus, Oladokun was one of five defensive backs with 400-plus coverage snaps who allowed zero touchdowns. Out of those five players, he was one of two who had five interceptions. Oladokun also ranked second in allowed reception percentage (43.3%).
Oladokun’s five picks in 2024 tied for second-most in the league, and his 13 passes defended tied for third-most. He added 35 total tackles, was named first-team all-conference, and was a Group of Five All-American.
In 2023, Oladokun was tabbed second-team All-MAC after snagging four interceptions and breaking up four passes in his 11-game season. He finished his career at BGSU with 83 total tackles, nine interceptions, and 20 PBUs.
Jordan Oladokun’s NFL Draft Profile
Oladokun has excellent instincts and feel for the game. He can see a play developing well before it does and make a play on the ball, force a QB to look the other direction, or throw the ball away. Better yet, he can disrupt a quarterback’s progression the way he sits on a route and make the QB take a sack.
Oladokun also doesn’t shy away from physicality, will aid in run support, and is a willing tackler. He’s physical with wideouts at the line of scrimmage and can knock them off their routes.
His athleticism and size don’t jump off the page, but he’s able to make up for it with his IQ and physicality.
There may be skepticism that he was playing against lower-level QBs and wideouts in the MAC, but there is some top-tier talent in the league. He also held his own against two top 25 teams in Penn State and Texas A&M last season. His first career interception came at No. 2-ranked Michigan in 2023.
Playing in a zone scheme will likely benefit Oladokun the most because of his instincts and ability to sit on a pass, but he should have no problem developing into a DB who can play multiple schemes.
Oladokun could start out as a special teamer, and I believe can carve out a role on an NFL roster as a DB.
