It’s hard to watch a highlight reel of Chris Brazzell II and not become enamored with his potential.
The former Tennessee and Tulane wide receiver burned cornerbacks countless times during his years in college. And between his speed and height, NFL teams will undoubtedly see him as a brilliant fit in their offenses.
He may not go in the first round of the draft, but it appears unlikely he’ll fall far beyond that.
Chris Brazzell II NFL Draft Projection
I project Brazzell will be selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills or Miami Dolphins could be really interesting teams for him.
Between Brazzell’s pure speed, size, and overall abilities as a receiver, I think he could basically fit into any offense. The Bills and Dolphins need help at wideout, and Brazzell would certainly provide that.

Chris Brazzell NFL Draft Profile & Comparison
My NFL comparison for Brazzell is Tee Higgins from the Cincinnati Bengals. This isn’t to say he’ll be as productive as Higgins. Both are tall receivers who can do a lot on the football field with their speed.
In Pro Football Focus’ grades for wide receivers who were targeted at least 78 times last season, Brazzell ranked 24th for overall offense and 20th for receiving.
Brazzell is an efficient player with his targets. He ranked 18th with 2.57 yards per route run. And that’s in part because his average depth of target was 15.7 yards, which was seventh in the country.
Brazzell will be an enticing NFL prospect because of his big-play ability. His speed stands out on tape. He also has great size for an outside receiver, adjusts well when the ball is in the air, and will successfully fight for 50-50 throws.
But he may need to expand his skill set in the pros, because most of his damage was done with go routes or hitches when defenders were lined up too far off the line of scrimmage to account for that speed.
Still, Brazzell could end up developing into an explosive wide receiver.
