Delaware and Missouri State weren’t guaranteed a bowl game appearance even if they won six games. But the first-year FBS programs won’t have to worry about that, as they will both play in bowl games this season.
Here’s more about the situation:
Can Missouri State & Delaware Play In Bowl Games?
Missouri State and Delaware will each play in a bowl game this season. Which bowls they will play in has yet to be determined.
They weren’t automatically allowed to appear in bowl games for the 2025 season because of NCAA rules barring teams which transition from the FCS to the FBS making any postseason appearance for two years.
