The Group of Five was 2-7 against the Power Five in bowl games this year. Overall, the G5 went 15-20 in bowl games.
The AAC and Conference USA had the best win percentages among the Group of Five leagues at 3-3 and 2-2, respectively. The Sun Belt, which had the most bowl-eligible teams among any FBS conference with 12, went 5-7 in bowl games while the Mountain West was 3-4 and the MAC was 2-4.
