I predict Jacksonville State will cover the spread at -7 and beat Sam Houston. I also believe the game will go Over 36.5 total points.
JSU hasn’t been in the FBS for very long, but the Gamecocks already have some good wins, like last week when they defeated Eastern Michigan 21-0.
Meanwhile, Sam Houston has struggled and hasn’t won yet this year. The Bearkats’ defense has shown potential, but I don’t think it’ll be enough in this matchup.
