Former Louisiana Tech defensive lineman Keivie Rose has entered the transfer portal, he announced earlier this week on Twitter.
Rose was on the All-Conference USA first team in 2022. He was also on the all-conference honorable mention list the season before.
Rose said he had received offers from Missouri, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Miami, West Virginia, Colorado, TCU, Ole Miss, and Arkansas as of the morning of April 27.
Rose is going to be a redshirt junior in 2023. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 303-pound defensive tackle tallied 24 tackles, 18 solo, as well as four tackles for loss and two sacks.
Rose has totaled 72 tackles, 37 solo, with 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three passes defended, and two forced fumbles in his career with the Bulldogs after starting since he was a redshirt freshman in 2020. He was a three-star recruit out of Henderson High School in Texas.
Louisiana Tech is entering its second season under head coach Sonny Cumbie after going 3-9 in 2022.
