Vanderbilt vs. UNLV Prediction: Over/Under Total Points
For Vanderbilt vs. UNLV in Week 3, I predict the teams will go Under 59.5 total points.
It’s tough to tell what UNLV’s offense is capable of. The Rebels have scored 44 points against Bryant and seven against Michigan.
But I don’t think they’ll score more than 21 against Vanderbilt, which limited Hawaii and the nation’s leading passer, Brayden Schager, to 28 points. I think the Commodores will keep it a low-scoring game and win convincingly.
Prediction: Under 59.5
Wyoming vs. Texas Prediction: Over/Under Total Points
For Wyoming vs. Texas in Week 3, I predict the teams will go Over 48.5 total points.
Texas played at a very high level in a win at Alabama last week and limited the Crimson Tide to just 24 points. But I think the Longhorns will have a little bit of a letdown and allow Wyoming to score a couple early touchdowns.
Texas still might win – and by a lot of points – but the Cowboys will be able to find the end zone themselves. They’ve scored more than 30 points in their first two matchups of the year.
Prediction: Over 48.5

New Mexico State vs. New Mexico Prediction: Moneyline
For New Mexico State vs. New Mexico in Week 3, I predict NMSU will win with the moneyline being at +105.
It’s difficult to decide what kind of team New Mexico is after games against Texas A&M (a loss) and Tennessee Tech (a win). This game will be a strong indicator, no matter the result.
New Mexico State has gone 1-2 to begin the year, but the talent on the Aggies’ roster is better than that. I think quarterback Diego Pavia has a strong performance in this matchup.
