Navy vs. Army Prediction
I’m picking Army to win and cover the spread at -2.5. I also am predicting the game will go Over 27.5 total points.
I could certainly see either team winning. I am confident this will be a low-scoring contest as many editions of this rivalry game have been, but I think more than 27 points will be scored.
Since 2010, the Army-Navy game has gone Over 27.5 points nine times.
Army has averaged 22.7 points per game in its last three outings while allowing 12.7. In Navy’s last three games, the Midshipmen have scored 18.3 points per contest and have allowed 21.7.
That said, I think Army is playing a little better recently. The Black Knights recorded solid wins over Air Force and Coastal Carolina in November, and I think they find a way to keep that momentum going by scoring a few touchdowns.
