I’m picking New Mexico State to win and cover the spread at +2.5. I also am predicting the game will go Under 52 total points.
Both of these teams have good offenses. They both rank in the top half of CUSA in terms of scoring offense and total offense.
However, NMSU is a bad matchup for the Bulldogs. The Aggies are third in the league with 202.1 rushing yards per game, and Louisiana Tech is eighth in rushing defense with 198.9 yards per game allowed on the ground.
I think NMSU will control the game with its rushing attack. I’m predicting Aggies quarterback Diego Pavia will have a good amount of passing and rushing yards and will lead his team to victory.
