I’m picking NIU to win but for CMU to cover the spread at +5.5. I’m also predicting the game will go Over 44.5 total points.
NIU has managed to win close games the past few weeks, beating Ohio 23-13 and Eastern Michigan 20-13. I don’t think this game will be any different.
Both teams have been in fairly low-scoring contests recently, but both squads are in the top half of the MAC in terms of total offense. I believe NIU will win with a score similar to 28-24.
