Southern Miss was one of just two Sun Belt teams to not earn bowl-eligibility in 2023. The Golden Eagles were 3-9 overall with two of those wins being in conference play.
But they are clearly aiming to improve this offseason. They’ve made several additions to their roster, and many of those players were either three-star or four-star prospects and were previously at Power Five schools.
Here’s a list of the players who have joined Southern Miss and who have left the team this offseason via the transfer portal, per 247 Sports. This list consists only of players who have made their new teams known and doesn’t include players still in the transfer portal.
