Tulane vs. Memphis Prediction
I’m picking Tulane to win, but I predict Memphis will cover the spread at +4.5. I also anticipate the game will go Under 54.5 total points.
These are going to be two evenly-matched programs. Memphis has allowed 21.4 points and 362.8 yards per game, while Tulane has given up 17.4 points and 319.8 yards per game. All of those numbers are among the fourth-lowest in the AAC.
In fact, Tulane has the best scoring defense in the league while Memphis is No. 1 in scoring offense with 36.6 points per game.
But both teams are statistically better on defense than they are on offense, so I don’t imagine this will be a high-scoring contest.
I also don’t think either team will win by more than four points. I like Tulane’s talent a little bit more, but I think Memphis is also going to play well at home.
