The 2026 season features 127 FCS vs. FBS games.
While there is a concern that these matchups could potentially go away in the future, for right now, the number of FCS-FBS games continues to grow.
There were 126 FCS vs. FBS games in the 2025 season, 121 in the 2024 season, 118 in 2023, 117 in both the 2022 and 2021 seasons, and 114 games were scheduled for 2020 until COVID disrupted the season. The 2019 season saw 114 FCS-FBS matchups, 2018 had 111, and 2017 had 98.
