During the one-time FCS spring season, 240 regular-season games were played while 45 games got canceled for COVID-related reasons. Nineteen more games got canceled due to midseason opt-outs. The FCS was able to play 79 percent of its scheduled regular-season spring games. And no games were impacted by COVID during the 16-team playoff.
Now, with teams getting vaccinated and no stadium capacity limits, a more normal 2021 fall season is expected. But COVID disruptions may still occur, hopefully at a much lower rate.
We’ll keep track of them here.
