- Game ball: Tennessee State
- 6-2 start
- Terrell Allen: 46 tackles, 20.5 TFLs, 13.5 sacks, 8 QB hurries, and 5 forced fumbles
- Game ball: Portland State RB Jobi Malary
- rushed 23 times for 241 yards and six touchdowns in a 47-35 win over EWU
- Flag: UC Davis
- No. 25 UC Davis loses to Northern Arizona 38-21
- NAU is 3-5 with three ranked wins over Montana, Weber State, and UC Davis
- UCD is now 4-4 and has to win out for a shot at the playoffs
