The college football offseason is far from slow with coaching changes and the red-hot transfer portal.
Heading into the 2024 FCS season, there are 30 new head coaches.
Last year, there were 28 head coaching changes. Before the 2022 season, there were 22.

Dartmouth
Sammy McCorkle was named Dartmouth’s head coach on Oct. 19 after serving as the interim HC to start the season.
McCorkle was originally elevated from his position as associate head coach to acting head coach on April 4 to lead the football team after Buddy Teevens — the team’s head coach since 2005 — sustained critical injuries in a bicycle accident in March before passing away in September.
