When Is The 2023 FCS Championship Game?

The 2023 FCS season’s national championship game is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024. It will air on ABC.

Frisco, Texas, hosts the title game for the 14th season. The city and Toyota Stadium have the game contract through the 2024 season with an option for the 2025 season. They are expected to sign a contract extension beyond 2025.

The 24-team playoff bracket has 10 auto-bids from 10 conferences and 14 at-large bids. Eight teams will be seeded with first-round byes.

When Are The FCS Playoffs?

Postseason play begins Nov. 25 with the first-round games. The second-round games are Dec. 2, the quarterfinals are Dec. 8 and 9, the semifinals are Dec. 15 and 16, and the title game is Jan. 7 in Frisco, Texas.

A selection show revealing the bracket will air on ESPNU at 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 19.
