Kaleb Proctor NFL Draft Projection
Kaleb Proctor is projected to be a 3rd-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft, per Draft Scout’s database. He is ranked the No. 98 overall prospect and the No. 10 defensive tackle.

Kaleb Proctor NFL Draft Profile & College Stats
Proctor has been a force on the interior of Southeastern’s defensive line.
He played in 12 games as a true freshman during the 2022 season, totaling 16 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. In 2023, Proctor tallied 26 stops, five TFLs, and 1.5 sacks.
Proctor really took off in 2024. He registered 49 tackles, six TFLs, and 4.5 sacks, earning All-Southland Conference Second Team honors. Last season, he racked up 43 stops, 13 TFLs, nine sacks, and four quarterback hurries. Proctor was named the Southland Player of the Year along with First Team honors, plus multiple FCS All-American accolades.
Proctor, who easily could’ve earned himself a nice Power Four NIL deal by entering the transfer portal before the 2025 season, elected to stay at Southeastern to continue to develop and dominate. And he showed how high a level he can play at against LSU on Sept. 20 when he totaled five tackles, three TFLs, and two sacks, a crucial game tape that pro scouts have analyzed.
“Kaleb is a rarity in college football today,” Southeastern head coach Frank Scelfo said. “He was loyal to his teammates throughout his career, believed in himself and his development, and trusted SLU would give him every opportunity to showcase his talents. As good as he is as a player, he’s a much better man and teammate. His impact on our organization and Hammond, America will be remembered for years to come due to his dedication and contributions to the program, university, and community.”
After an impressive senior season, Proctor’s stock continued to rise as the draft process began. He performed well at the East-West Shrine Bowl and tested strongly at the NFL Combine (full results below).
Proctor is a disruptor and a next-level athlete, something he’s proven against an SEC opponent, in an all-star game, and at the Combine. He has a legit shot to hear his name called on Day 2 of the NFL Draft. If not, he won’t wait long on Day 3.
NFL Analyst Lance Zierlein’s overview of Proctor states: “As an interior defender, Proctor is an elite athlete with rare playmaking range. He’s an elusive rusher with an explosive first step and the ability to unlock openings with varied approaches and angles. He’s also very undersized with limited recourse once linemen have him squared up and put hands on him. He lacks the anchor or contact balance to withstand power. Proctor needs to find a fit in a move-based defensive front where he can try to mismatch interior protection with his quickness and athletic gifts.”
